Find firewood suppliers!

Excited to be part of this forum, seems like a ton of knowledge is being shared.  I have a small firewood business in SoCal and I'm looking for wood suppliers.  I'm new to this and not sure how to source these business.  Can anyone please offer suggestions?  I want to move beyond the yellow pages and craigslist and get directly to the companies that supply hickory, pecan, pinion, oak and so on.  I would really appreciate any guidance.

I'm in Minnesota, so, whatever I say may not apply. But:

Don't overlook Craigslist.  I get all my wood from tree services that found me from a Craigslist add.  These guys, of course, only get whatever comes their way in the line of damaged, dangerous, and unwanted whatever.

But, they are out on patrol everyday.  They know where a lot of that stuff is, and who are the guys are that get/bid on it.  Good contacts.  Give it a try.
