p52 not oiling

I have a partner p52 that I bought new in the box about 5 years ago.  I have blocked about 300 -400 face cords of firewood with it.  While cutting the last tow tanks of gas the oil level barely went down.  I took the bar off and blew everything out and the holes are all clear.  With the bar off and the engine running the oil seems to come out of the hole but maybe sporatically.  I took it into a small engine shop because I just didn't have time to tinker with it and they said the pump seemed ok.  The set screw is turned all the way out.  I'm wondering if there is a filter on the oil pick up tube that could be blocked or maybe something else that i'm missing?

No suggestions ???   Anyway I took it apart today and everything seemed perfect except the oil pickup tube/filter  was blocked.  I ran some air backwards through the line and all is well.
