What is the going board foot cost for a band mill to cut up my logs ? I'm in the central ny area . thanks

   I'd suggest go to the Extras button on top of the FF home page, select Find A Database and look up portable or stationary sawmillers, as appropriate to your needs, in your area and contact them. Prices vary widely by region and services you want. Good luck.

Guy around here charges $80 an hour for an lt 35

I tried hourly rate. My mill is manual. I didn't feel it was fair to customer. I went with .30 a bdft. Felt it was more equitable to all.
