Nothing fancy just some basic bread shaped like a round bowl and then hollowed out. You can fill it with any thick soup or stew.





This was a clam chowder that turned out kind of blase. Wish we could get decent clams other then the canned ones around here.

I have never seen that done but it looks good.  Kind of a fat chicken pot pie.

Jim, some of the restaurants do it here. I believe one coffee shop to, Tim Hortan's.

Had one of those at Tim Horton's this morning, not too bad but their coffee really sucks >:(
The other thing I always notice there is that there sure aint many white people behind the counter. :o

The bread bowls were delish!  ;D

I think they would be good filled with chili for a fall day.
