I`am looking for a source for Operators/Winch/Parts manuals, books etc... for an old " C5D " tree Farmer 353 engine, Winch Can-Car 20 Serial # 04508

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Try the Oliver Stores in Maine.  (theoliverstores.com) I got a used franklin 105 manual and parts book from them.  They used to deal in franklin.  Worth a try.
