Looking for suggestions for a good medal detector to find nails, and screws etc in logs

Schonstedt GA-52 (spelling might not be exactly right).  It is a ferrous metals only detector, I use one at work looking for buried pipe, missing property corners, survey nails, etc. and also on my own time when I'm milling logs and can attest  that they will find a small nail or bit of rusty wire or other small steel/iron objects pretty easily.  Variable sensitivity and can pin-point pretty well too.  I own a few conventional treasure-hunter type metal detectors for hobby/fun and the schonstedt GA-52 will beat them on ferrous metals hands down.  It will not find aluminum, brass, copper etc. though, only steel/iron.  Also, you will probably have to scan your logs away from the mill or anything else made of metal, or else the detector will get overloaded by the large steel frame of the mill and you will miss the nails/screws/bolts.

Firewood is energy independence on a personal scale.
