   My first car was a 51 Willys Wagon, 6 cylinder, 2 wheel drive, and it was amazing what it went through with those tall skinny tires and good ground clearance. I gave $60 for it and wish I still had it.

The old stuff was really tough. This was my Dads truck. I remember the stuff we did with it.

I did that with my ATV - slipped off the edge of a bank and landed on its back.  It was still on a slope so it was easier to just keep rolling it down the hill!

Make gravity your friend, not your enemy. I have driven on roads as poor as those, but not as muddy. Pick your way carefully and try to keep one tire on the high spots.
