Kevin picked this up at a closed auto body and repair shop.
It seems to me he just has this thing for picking up used tools. 
so once again I am asking if anyone knows what it is or what you use it for.

Trany tool!

Its used to compress the clutch packs so you can remove the snap ring!
They work very slick!

Im not sure why they would have one at a body shop

I sent this thread to my brother Ron.
He said the same thing.


It's a automatic transmission clutch pak tool to release the snap ring. I have 2, one like it that Ken gave me, and a small portable one.
