Hello,  I want to build a splitter for 34" wood for my sugar arch.  I also need one to split 6' wood for posts.  I have two 3' cylinders with 2" shafts.  What problems would you foresee with mounting them to an I beam, one cylinder with a wedge on the end and the other with a flat plate,  with the cylinders set up to push toward each other so one could split through 3' then the other cylinder could push toward the first finishing the last 3' of the split and thus be able to split posts, or also be able to actuate just one cylinder to split the 34" wood?  I hope the wording makes sense.  What am I overlooking?
