Vacuum Drying Shortcourse

There will be a 1/2 workshop on vacuum drying on Thursday, December 4, 2014. The course will be held at the Wood Education & Resource Center, located in Princeton, WV from 12:00 to 5:00pm. The workshop will also be conducted in a webinar format for those who wish to participate from a distance. Presentations will be conducted by vacuum kiln suppliers, those currently using the technology and researchers who have recently completed a study looking at feasibility of vacuum drying 4/4 red oak for flooring production. I signed up for the webinar, I am setting up a solar kiln in the future for some of the beams and mantles I cut. I am also interested in the vacuum kiln.
