It is six months away but I furnish Hickory for the Masonic Lodge in Mt Juliet for their 4th of July Barbecue. Last year they prepared 1500 lb of shoulders and then gave 100% of the money to a Hospitable charity.
My mill this year is cutting mostly Ceder and I don't any Hickory Slabs saved yet. I am going to need 6 bundles of slabs for them and with my current cutting I don't know whether I will have them. I give them to the lodge for free and this is not a money maker for me.
This is next July but I thought I would throw this out in case some one is cutting Hickory and feels generous.

We have a little pile of hickory slabs here in Eagleville.  Give me a shout and we will work something out.

I know a business in Decatur, TN that normally has a lot of hickory slabs from cutting ax handles. Is that too far away?

I know who you are talking about in Idelwild. If Mike would allow me to take them, I could drop them off in Liberty. I have drill with the National Guard this weekend in Nashville and could run up Hwy. 70. I like going that way sometimes.
