I took a break from sawmilling and got in the shop and built a few tables the first one is blue pine with a satin poly finish and second is eastern red cedar with a satin conversion varnish finish .This was my first experience with conversion varnish but I think it will be my go to finish from now on.

Take steps to save steps.

If it won't roll, its not a log; it's still a tree.  Sawmills cut logs, not trees.

Kiln drying wood: When the cookies are burned, they're burned, and you can't fix them.

Sawing is fun for the first couple million boards.

Nice!  Hey how about a wider shot?  Is that all stock up against the wall?
Anything someone can design, I can sure figure out how to fix!
If I say it\\\\\\\'s going to take so long, multiply that by at least 3!
