It's not the safest thing to do, but if that switch isn't to difficult to get at then disconnect the wires from it and see if the machine functions. If no joy, try to temporarily join the wires together. That procedure might help you with tracking the problem down. Just wrap them to prevent wayward but accidentally making electrical contact with anything.

im totally lost with this thing..everything you guys have suggested ive tried and still nothing unless I jump the pink and yellow wires. im just going to run it like this and be happy with it..thanks to all for your help and ideas
