Radiant floor heat

I installed a radiant floor system in my basement when I built my house 6 years ago. The only problem is that I've never hooked it up and used it yet.  My plan is to use a water heater for a holding tank and use a side arm to heat it.  My question is, do those of you with radiant systems pump the OWB temp water through the concrete?  My water runs 150-160 by the time it gets inside.  Is that too hot to put through the concrete?  Will it make the floor too hot to comfortably walk on?  Just wondered how some of you set yours up.

While some on the forum have done that, I think most guidelines for radiant heat would consider that 150-160 degree water too hot.  You need to install a return/remix loop to lower the temp to around 120.
My father once said, "This is my son who wanted to grow up and become a doctor.  So far, he's only become a doctor."

Doctorb is correct , the water would be to hot. You would end up with a sauna and the floor would be to hot to walk on in bare feet. A cellar slab will need less than 100* water to keep the cellar maybe only 80* water temp.

All good advice. The water run through the concrete floor should typically be around 110 degrees or less in most cases. 100 is a great starting point.
Yes you can run the boiler water directly through the floor with the use of a mixing valve between the supply/return manifolds to reduce floor feed temperature. Central Boiler has a nice illustration of this on their site. This diagram show their OWF loop running through a side arm exchanger for  domestic water heating and then continues on to the floor heating system. It shows the mixing valve and the priority pump that fires off and on per your thermostat setting to control room temp.

112 deg. is the design temp of my system. (I paid for a radiant design Co.)

Thanks for the replies.  That gives me a starting point.
