Seems chevy got bit by the ugly bug, just like all the others.

I own a 1994 F-250 diesel that is out delivering firewood tonight. Still trucking loads.

I just looked at it, 😂 A face only a mother could love, I think an aftermarket grill would help some, not sure who the person is who designs this stuff. My F-350 goes in a couple weeks, they havent changed the fords much, this one is probably the best one so far I think as far as power and tow capability.

I did to. Wow ugly isnt a word to describe it. Hope the sell a bunch but there out of my price range.

Talk about being beat with the ugly stick, to me the body says Toyota and the front screams - well I can't even think of a word that describes how ugly that is.  No wonder they are having financial issues with decision making like that.  Just to make things even worse I bet the duallys will go back to a two piece fender flare on the bed.

I wouldn't get too excited just yet. These are prototypes and they know the competition is spying so the final shape has not been released. Still, the stylists have to work to make them distinctive and sometimes get carried away.

Huh. I kinda like it. It doesn't matter anyways, I can't afford one 😁

Wow that is terrible! Although I guess it doesn't really bother me because it will be a long time before I will be able to afford a 2020 pickup lol lol lol

Could it be because it already looks like someone backed into it with a forwarder? :D

I know more than I can say at this time, but I think they learned their lesson about "add on" Fender Flares a while ago; It won't change the fact that some folks don't know how to clear them in tight quarters....

i was hoping someone would post a picture of one. i like my fords but i do have one big complaint. i traded one of my 2012's for a leftover 18. and it steers hard compared to my others. the 12 handles good the new one is stiff. some things are better on the 18. if you want the heat turned up just tell it to do it same with the radio or nav

To me it kinda looks like the front end is upside down.

I know all about the ugly stick, it's hit me a few times too ;D  Not a fan of that grill.  It won't be a problem for me for a while...  Let's see, it's due out in 2 years, I won't be able to afford it for another 4 ish years after that, that means I got a while to get "used" to it's looks!  Heck, it took the wife wayyyyy longer than that to get used to my looks!

Haven't seen a picture yet but after watching the news today I am not interested in buying anymore GM vehicles.  After we bail them out now they lay off tons of people and will be building their trucks in Mexico. No thanks

WHAT????  IN THE RAIN???  ARE YOU MAD???  The poor thing doesn't even know what rain is and you kick it outside in the first rain in how long?
Hope you are enjoying the showers, hope they made it inland as far as your plateau with plenty of moisture.

Now if you want to show off, just buy a Mercedes-Benz "pickup". Yes it's actually a thing.

And you can buy them in NZ

2.3 l twin turbo diesel would actually move them along pretty well, and I bet it has comfy seats.  :D

That Benz is a small pickup like a hilux or what we call a Tacoma.

The new prototype looks like the front end and fenders are from the Colorado, did it say if it's the 1500 or the HD trucks?

Yup, it's a badge engineered Nissan Navara. "Full Size" pickups are unusual in this part of the world, but the smaller "ute" like that is very popular. The Hilux, the overseas version of the Ford Ranger etc are big sellers.

Last summer out by one of our jobs someone had a world Ranger cool looking little truck even had the diesel to bad it couldn't pack much of a fuel tank though.

Gary_C

I'm beginning to wonder about you guys talking about how cute is that pickup. I like pickups that are reliable, durable and suitable for work. Oh yah, a good comfortable seat too. ::)

Shiny chrome is what makes them too expensive to afford. And what is a two tone paint job really worth? :D :D

rumor has it there will be a new direct injected gas motor and a 10 sp behind the dmax

Is the Tacoma truly the same truck as the Hilux? I'd buy a diesel Hilux in a heartbeat if they were available in the US. I've seen incredible loads on them.

Close, but not quite.  I just looked them up on google.  Pics are really close to our US Tacoma but the front end looks slightly different.  I wish we could get the Tacoma in the US with the diesel.  I's try my best ot buy one tomorrow. Stupid EPA is why we cant get nice things in America.  Also would love a Land Rover Defender, but they cant/dont import them any more because of EPA regs.
