394xp oiler problems

After rebuilding a Husqvarna 394xp, the chain oiler no longer works. (It seemed to work just fine before the breakdown.) The saw leaks chain oil,  but there don't appear to be any cracks in the crank case.

Any tips on diagnosing? Common problems?

I would say check the worm gear first.
