Jeff

When I was a boy of 10,
I had a very best friend.
Fred was kind, with good intent
But just a little different.

Special Fred,
Momma dropped him on his head.
Now he's not so bright, instead
He's a little bit special.
Just a little bit.

We played tag, and he'd get hurt.
I'd play "soldier", He'd eat dirt.
I liked math and the spelling bee.
Fred liked talking to a tree.

Special Fred,
Momma dropped him on his head.
Now she keeps him in the shed,
'Cuz he's a little bit special.
Just a little bit.

I ran track, hung out in malls.
Fred ran head first into walls.
I had girls, and lots of clothes.
Fred had names for all his toes.

Special Fred,
Momma dropped him on his head.
Now he thinks he's a piece of bread,
'Cuz he's a little bit special.
Just a little bit.

One day talking to Special Fred,
He grabbed a brick and he swung at my head.
And as he laughed at me that's when I knew
That Special Fred just made me special too.

Now I laugh as I count bugs.
I give strangers great, big hugs.
Next to me, Fred is fine.
Yeah, he's a f--kin' Einstein.

Special Fred and me,
Now we're not right in the head you see.
Now we're not so bright intead
We're a little bit special.
Just a little bit special.
That b**tard Fred made me special.
Just a little bit.
Just a little bit...special

I think Jeff's computer is broke. :-/

Neat song.   Some of the lyrics remind me of Charlie. :D

I hit him in the head with a frying pan once. :-/ :)

Didn't know Readers Digest was in the lumber grading business??? :o :o

Now I can't find it again.  I'm getting the same error that Jeff got.  Jeff, it's contagious. :)

:D Everything I've heard about brown eyes belongs on the 0ut-house thread. :-/

Jeff

Jealously rears its ugly head. I was looking for one where I didnt look so inteligent but couldnt find any.

Oh, and about the link, the kid has always been ahead of his time. ;D

There's some good info. on that page.  That article appeared in American Woodworker a few years back.  I used a few cherry boards with knots and pith in it to cut all the rails and stiles for my hutch doors.   I like to save the nice wide stuff for my panels   :)

Hey, that page worked for me too...I must be shpecial too  ;D

Jeff

They finally let me look too. They must have saw the picture and figured I was harmless.

Tom, I must not be very special, they let me in before they straightened up.  :D     Who would fix up for someone named pigman. :-[
Things turn out best for people who make the best of how things turn out.

Tom

Maybe they were putting stuff up, Pigman :D  Gettin' it out of the way, you know. :D

I hope they don't make it inaccessible with their fooling around, it's a good article.
