hi all anyone used one of these file guides if so how easy are they to use .thanks

Some people like them.
I prefer the two step, round file each tooth and then flat file the depth gauge if needed.
I like to see what is going on, rather than filing blind (so to speak).

beenthere, I'm with you, there's to much to watch for
Third generation logger, owner operator, 30 yrs felling experience with pole skidder. I got my neck broke back in 89, left me a quad. The wife kept the job going up to 96.
