Is any one using a Grizzly metal lathe?
Is it well built , run true, make good parts?
Looking at the new bench top model G0602 for small turning jobs.
Thank you for any input.

I don't have one, don't know how to use one.  I do have an "old-timer" friend who has a floor model. He is a machinest from way back.  Worked on a lathe in the Navy in WWII and never quit.  He likes his.  Least he did until he got Alzheimers.  He doesn't mess with much of anything anymore.

Carl,

I've looked at the Jet lathe in the same size as the one you mentioned as a secondary metal lathe for my shop.  I was surprized at the stoutness of it.  I have not seen the Grizzley machine in person.   I just saw a Jet 12/24 on ebay recently.
Let's see...

Here ya go...

This is a pretty good deal on this machine.  they don't manufacture this one any more. >:(  It is a really nice machine.
I do what the little voices in my wife's head tell me to do.
