I have an old saw that says husky 36 on the outside of the side cover
it has a white air filter cover the rest is husky orange.
But,the saw is stamped made in canada

I had a old skill brand saw years ago is this what this is it sure looks like that old saw.

Any ideas

Several smaller consumer category Huskys were made at the same factory as the Skil ones in the late 1970s and 1980s or so, but as far as I know, the 36 was not one of them. It should look quite different, and was made by Poulan, from 1991.

Are you sure it actually says 36 on it, and not 33, 34, 35, 37 or 38   ??? ???

The pictured one is a newer one, the first ones had a dark gray top cover, I believe.
