Atlantic, we are 1 hr ahead of Boston. I was standing at the table saw for that new barn door at 6:30 am.  :D :D :D Daylight is before 6 am here during summer.  ;)

Yep, I bet it don't get dark until 10:00 or later also - right?

DL, how are they with shade tolerance?

I don't think they're one of the more shade tolerant oaks, but they don't need full sun, either.  You could plant them in an opening in the canopy and they should do just fine.  I can collect some seeds this fall :).
