Yes but it happens.  I am sure you had an influence on your kids humor!  Ours are similar, love it!

   When I was working projects in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia I did a lot of scuba diving in the Red Sea which is some of the best diving in the world with great coral foundations, beautiful fish and warm weather all year long.

   Just for the novelty of it we we plan a New Year's Eve and go down just before midnight in one year and surface in the next year.
