Iberdrola Renewables has started construction at its 26.8 MW Lakeview Biomass Cogeneration Plant in Lakeview, Oregon, US, with construction expected to complete by autumn 2012.

Located about 90 miles east of Iberdrola Renewables' Klamath Cogeneration Plant, the Lakeview project will be entirely air-cooled - requiring 80% less water than conventional water cooling.

Collins Pine Company will provide fuel from logging and sawmill residuals from an adjacent sawmill and will purchase the equivalent of 2 MW of steam to run its lumber-drying process more efficiently and with lower air emissions.

Ran across this info to my daily energy reading.
