Anybody have any idea what this saw would be worth. I found it at a pawn shop. Has a really big bar on it but no chain. I have no clue about the condition of the saw. But they are asking $500 for it. Does that sound fair or should I forget it?

Make certain it runs first then negotiate.Pawn shops are well noted for over pricing things. ;)

Is it a saw you have to have?   Doesn't sound like a deal to me.

Have to have no. I can live without it but would like to have it if the price is right. I think 500 is to much. I was thinking maybe 150-250 the way it sits.  If it'll run.

The cheapest I saw a completed auction on eBay was $350 and it had a scored piston.
