Moose down!!!!!

My son got a moose permit for one of the toughest zones in maine!!   I was sub permitee! He was drawn for thomaston maine area!!!  I have hauled  wood down there for 6 years or so! Everyone said we was nuts for even thinking about that zone. It was low on our list of choices,but i told the boy not to worry!! Been seeing moose down there for all the time i hauled wood! He went down to a lot i haulecd off, set up and started calling them. 10 minutes into the season.... 635# bull on the ground!!   25 dollars in gas and 20 minutes hunting!  Guys have spent 800-1000 in gas and 5-6 days up in northern maine to get one, me included!!~!  No more turtle soup for us!!
