I have a fencing customer that buys 1x6, 2x4,s mostly. I have tried to get him to buy 1x4 and 4x4's, no way! Since I have a lot of side 1x4 stuff, figured it would be a good place to sell it. Long story short, I brought about 1000bdft of 1x4 stuff home, hired my grand kids to stick it.
Yep you guessed it, the day after we unloaded and sticked it he had a customer decided she wanted a picket fence, 1x4x4, oh bye the way I want 4x4's for the posts. Not complaining, it just seems thats the way it works, do someting with it, or get rid of it and every customer you have will all of a sudden need it. :D
Too much work-not enough pay.

Yep, and just when that pile of pretty 20' logs is about to go to waste, you buck them into 12s and 8s and a customer will come along wanting 10s. ::) :D
