The other day my skidder lost forward, reverse and winch.  I had a load behind me and it just stopped moving.  it would not go ahead, back and winch would not winch in or release, i then saw that the small front pan came out of place and a stick drove back through and pinched the hose that runs from transmission to tranny pump.  I got the stick out and after a while the winch started working and gradually it started taking a hold in tranny enough to get out of woods. I took that hose off of pump to see if a blockage.  it seems to be working ok now but still not 100%.. i sometimes seem to have to rev higher to taking off and it somehow seems higher sped although it it not in high range and tranny seems hotter than it should be....

The hose probably delaminated or had the wire crush internally.  Basically your dash 10 deformed into a dash 6 or 8.  Now you need more RPM to create more flow to make up for it.  This will also make more heat.

Replace or splice out the bad section and see if that solves it before too long.  If its something else and you keep running, more wear will result fast and youll be into the trans to fix it eventually.

you can kinda probe it with a piece of brakeline or an electricians cable puller/snake thingy to verify the internal issue rather than throwing money at it.  Lay the probe next to the piece and put a depth marker of some sort on the probe to coincide with the stick injury so you'll know where to really pay attention.

I have a radiator hose thats delaminated at a formed elbow on the bobcat right now.  Its always something.

If that hose is the suction hose it probably  needs replacing after being stressed it is probably sucking air.  It can suck air and not show a visable leak. Symptoms of a trans suction leak are extended time to get pressure and high revs to get the tractor moving.  Typically on a Clark it should be able to feel the Trans drop into gear as soon as you shift it in, not have to rev it and have it slowly catch up.  I am not sure on a B but usually the Clark's I have dealt with have clamps on the trans suction hose, not crimped fittings like a hydraulic hose.  Hose size is critical here.  If the hose is to too large you can not make it seal with the clamps. The correct size should be difficult to slide over the shoulder on the nipple it slides up on.

Thats probably a more likely scenario than mine.

Mike, your points are just a valid as mine.  My suggestions  are merely speculation from past experience.

I think the symptoms do sound like air getting in with the oil.

A hose crushed that hard likely had some rubber flake off the inside.  Changing filters would be cheap insurance.
