The Amazon normally produces about as much lumber as Oregon each year and the Amazon is the size of the United States so you can see that it is not much of a factor internationally.  This year with the economic crises in the US the photos of the biggest mill here in this end of the Peruvian Amazon tell the story.  EMPTY
About 30,000 subsistance loggers who normally cut a dozen to a hundred trees a year are out of work.
The Mexican market which is the number two market for the mills here is shut down also.
I hope those green sprouts they are talking about in the economy up there grow fast.
