Well, just for my own culture. Are the farm tractors JD 7020 as tippy as a 440?

I have a problem, i'm a fan of old John Deeres.

I would be surprised especially with the dual wheels all the way around I bet it would be quite stable. And yes that's a problem lol lol lol!

Well, the one i have seen is single wheels. Used for years in the woods.

Thanks for the reply.

O I see it's kinda to bad to use one in the woods there weren't very many made somewhere around 2500. I have never been around a 7020 but I have a 8430 a little bit

Have a look up of the 'Bush Engineers Tractor museum' in australia. 1970s-  The people to clear the bush country could not afford to buy the large pivot steer tractors new and in those times there were few used tractors to purchase so they built their own from clark axles, cat/ cummins engine models that were proven/ known to be fairly reliable , allison transmissions and road truck cabs (fairly confident they were not going to roll the tractor on the flat terrain.
John Deere 7020 4 wheel drive pivot steer tractor - 6 cylinder, 6.6 liter engine, 404 cubic inch - weight 8400kg, 18500 lbs , probably 2 and half times the engine power of the JD 440 skidder 70 horsepower 6430kg, 14 175 lbs.
