I've been looking at self loaders on the computer.  recently I've seen a few Crown 3000's and I can't find anything for it's specs.  How does it compare to a prentice, hood, etc.?  Does anyone have a sheet on it's specs?  I've got the bug to get my own short logger and I think I can piece it together  cheaper than buy.  I'm out in CA and loaders aren't as common out here as they are on the east side.
Always try it twice, the first time could've been a fluke.

I had read that Grizzly cranes can supply parts for the crown loaders.  They seemed to have a bunch of info on them.  The Crown 3000 can lift about 7000 close and 4000 extended.  They said it was the same lift capacity as the Grizzly 215c.  It's not as much lift capacity as I would expect from a long log loader, but now I know.  Hopefully this info is valuable for other people too.
