Vermont Dept of Fish and Wildlife just came out with a new book:
Landowners Guide - Wildlife Habitat Management for Lands in Vermont

Here's their description:
QuoteThis 134-page guide is intended to assist you as a landowner to manage your land to benefit wildlife in tandem with other management goals you might have, such as for timber or hiking trails; many of these goals are compatible, if not complementary. Whether you are a landowner, forester, biologist, or other land manager, this guide will help you understand how to recognize various wildlife habitats and how to manage them for the future, for many generations of Vermonters yet to come.

I thought I'd check out a copy. Might be of interest to others on here. I'm sure at least some of it applies to outside of Vermont as well.

Thanks! I'm going to take a look ... Appreciate the heads up.
