I still know the feeling, I retired back in May of 1989.

I have 2 sons retiring from the military this year, both 20 years.

welcome to the ranks of the retired. BMC USN retired since Nov '92. had I known retirement was this busy, I might have stayed in another 10 NOT. Enjoy and keep busy, retirement is not for sissies

Thanks for your service. I've been enjoying my retirement since May 1 2007. I still wake without an alarm clock between 4:30 and 5:30 every morning. Enjoy yours.

Thanks again guys...I have been down with a flu bug for the last 48 hours...sorta...the wife dragged me up and out to an auction yesterday...picked up a bed edger for less than 200 bucks..no more square nosed shovel for me..
I am off this morning to do war upon a pair of evil white pine, Made a deal with the fellow to take them down, I get the sawlogs and a newish Air conditioning unit/gas pack for the house...works for me.
