I can't read the article.  What saw did he use? Was it a commercial grade or one of those "homeowner" models? How long and what type was the bar? What chain, full skip? Half skip?  Was the chain properly sharpened?  We need to know these things!!

:D:D  Chain choice was probably not thought out. Should have depended upon crosscuts or ripping.

I heard this guy bought the saw at a Swap Meet, using the much discussed "Loophole".
He's a Felon on Parole, so he probably didn't want to use a firearm. That would be a mandatory life sentence...
Since he just was visiting the area, I heard that they're going to set up a check station to verify that nobody is bringing illegal Chainsaws into the community for the Pig Roast. :D Make sure you have your permit with you if you bring your saw!

Had to have been a professional grade saw. He would never have gotten a homeowner model cranked before she escaped.

Many years ago our town made the national news as well as the Johnny Carson show when a woman bit her boyfriends tongue off and then threw it behind the woods stove.  Another forest products related story. :D

I think we all probably have a few local news events we'd rather not talk about. Maybe even personal involvement😂

And, a local business sign about 5 minutes from here. Last year it went national when it said now hiring class of 2017.

I learned the rest of the story. Turns out the church members were gathered on the other side of the road, protesting the business. That's when Miceli's decided to welcome them on the sign.  :D
