There's a Forumite out there that has a reputation for selling slab benches for $300.00.
Really good bench slabs.
Well, now there's someone up here, in "North of Normal" and he gets $1000.00 per firewood bundle.
Really, most excellent firewood.

Whether or not the firewood is good is debatable but no question it is expensive. :)

He made the video, and kept from laughing out-loud the entire time.  ;D He has good control.

But why not put that price on it, if there are people who will spend such money to buy it. The one lady customer looked like she had a rich backer (or banker).  ;D

Ding dong, cah-ching!!  ;)

But I really think it is just a gag for a video.

The best gags usually have somebody trying to keep a straight face . . .

Man, I loved it.  A really REALLY good spoof.
My father once said, "This is my son who wanted to grow up and become a doctor.  So far, he's only become a doctor."

Not really so far-fetched, A bit back, in the lot of nearby hearth-dealer, VT Firewood had an honor-system kiosk with some of their kiln-dried wood.  $50 for a wee cart-load- toss it in your trunk. Worked out to around $1/lb. That's about $3500 per cord. No firearms involved.

Totally beats busting rocks to extract gold/silver, no?  :o
