Building with uneven logs

I am using 40 ft 14 in white pine.Some are not so straight.Building with green logs.I want to scribe them so they fit tight with except a 1.5 in calk/chink after staining.
Is there a suggestion to manage the curves?

depending on how much bow they have you can offset center line. For ex.  you can move it 1/2"(+/- till it looks right) one way or the other @ both ends. This will throw your extensions off though it probably wont be terribly noticeable unless they are bowed bad and you adjust center a lot.  Put the bow in or out, not up or down to keep same chink line. The good thing with logs is you can get away with a lot more than dimensional without it showing.

Don't forget to account for settling for door/window openings to avoid stuck doors and broken windows. (unless you go non settling then that opens up another can of worms)

You might try posting this in the timber frame/log home section.

Determine volume center with chalk line. Then line up your chalk line marks on log ends to keep the building inline.
 
If chalk line won't stay on log, then cut the log at window or door opening.  Or, you probably can't use the log.
