Timber Frame Work Shop - Red Wing, MN
« on: June 11, 2018, 09:42:10 PM »
We held a timber frame work shop June 8-10 in Red Wing, MN. We did some layout, some cutting, some fitting, and demos on topics such as sketchup, sharpening, and peg making.

The weather was fair; the company was awesome.

A few photos from this weekend are included below.  We still have a number of timbers to cut, so we will, likely, host a two day work shop in July or August. This will be followed by a one day rigging and raising work shop in the fall to put the frame in place and teach basic rigging.

If you are interested in the two day class or the rigging work shop in MN.  Drop me a line.

Photos from this weekend included below:

Hole tricks with a mirror.

Running a "Jim Rogers" boring machine.  That bad boy has been going strong for about 10 years now.

Getting familiar with power tools.

Bending some brains figuring out layout.

Thanks for your kind words about the boring machine. I'm glad it still working for you.
