Stoped at a yard sale and spotted a 066 Magnum and a parts saw for 220 bucks has one with 24'' bar and almost new chain need to take choke lever off parts saw and install and should be good to go  ??? Does anyone know what Hp this thing is  ??? Did I do good or bad ???

That was a real workhorse, and almost as heavy ;D If the compression is good and the bottom end is tight, you got a good deal.

If you end up with a good running 066 for $220, you should go out celebrate by cutting down some big trees, GREAT BIG trees.  Hope it's a good deal for you.

Real good price on that saw.This saw seems to have became the standard which all saws are compared to,or so it seems.

Thanks everyone 8) Fired that thing up today choke is a tad stickey on release but runs great .That rope starting is like getting kicked by a mule :o :D :D

The 66 is a fine saw.  And a good, running 66 for that price is a deal.  You might think about getting an Elastostart for it.  It'll save your knuckles.

Hey thanks called the saw dealer today and that elasto start is around 20 bucks . Didn't know you could get it as a add on  8) 8) Learn sompthing here every trip 8) 8)

It is a handle for the pull starter that has a spring in it to make the saw or blower start easier with not as much as a jerk for your hand. They are really handy to have and work really well on the larger displacement engines.
