My 1600 came with basic setworks.   I don't know what it would cost to add it but I can tell you I wouldn't want to saw without it.  I saw 1 1/4 pallet runners everyday and it's a simple matter to figure out where you have to start on the scale to end up with what you want for the bottom board.   Then just hit auto down every time the saw head comes back and it drops exactly 1 1/4.  Mine has been trouble free except for a broken ground wire in the energy chain.   Took a few calls to timberking to figure that one out but they were good to help me.

Ditto on the basic setworks. Wouldn’t want to mill without it!

Dean,

My memory tells me that the setworks package on my mill new was $1000.00. I can tell you it was well worth it.  I would suggest you call TimberKing and ask for pricing. Their 800 number is just to the upper left on this page. I'm not sure how difficult it is to add on after the fact, but they will be able to tell you all of that information. They really do a great job helping out their clients.

Does TK have a instructional DVD on their setworks?
Can you program any thickness or just use the presets?

TimberKing (and Cook's) are rather miserly about providing details of the features and operation of their setworks.
