Why does my band mill start level and end up duping in 10 ft

SawyerTed

There's several possibilities.  Could be dull blade, could be the mill, could be the log.

Without a few more details it's only a wild guess.

What mill?  What species of log?

Is it s new blade?

How many board feet have been cut with the blade?

Who sharpened the blade?

Did you hit metal?

These are s few of the questions to start.

Welcome to the Forestry Forum, Terry R!

When a blade is not running true, there are a lot of variables that enter the equation!

Yep, welcome to the Forum and we will need more info to figure it out.

Take steps to save steps.

If it won't roll, its not a log; it's still a tree.  Sawmills cut logs, not trees.

Kiln drying wood: When the cookies are burned, they're burned, and you can't fix them.

Sawing is fun for the first couple million boards.
