This fall I replaced my fusion combuster with the newer style along with all new firebrick and refractory panels. Since the upgrade my fusion combuster doesn't want to stay in place, it keeps coming off the air delivery tube part of the way so that gasification is limited. Anyone else run into this?

What make/model of OWB do you have ?
My father once said, "This is my son who wanted to grow up and become a doctor.  So far, he's only become a doctor."

E classic 2300, wood only 2008

Nope my stays on and was a pretty tight fit.  I would suggest getting it in place and shimming the opposite side so it could not come off the tube

Dyerbrk

What do you suppose I could use to shim it with?

I would be hunting around for some steel.

Got er' shimmed, seems to be into place tight. Thanks for the help!
