so I have a Husqvarna 445 and I have a scored cylinder and piston due to a leaking decompression valve and I was looking to rebuild it and found that it will take a 450 piston and cylinder has anyone ever done this and how did it work afterword

I would look up the IPL(s) on Huskys website, to see what is different and what is not.  ;)

everything is identical except the cylinder and piston and the stickers but short of that I just took about 2 1/2 hours and did the swap and seems to run good little bit more power from the feel but it will have to wait till this weekend to sink it in some wood and see how it really dose I was just wondering if anyone else did it and what the thought about it

should bolt right on . but are u sure you got your scoring for a leaking d comp. ive never seen that ever. all a leaky d comp valve  will do is lower compression. i would look more into that to see what made the scoring.
