I have used this tool online a few times and it has made some chores quick and easy.   http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/calculators
I recently used it to map out and design my newly leased sugar bush. I went to elevation visualizer and by clicking on a series of points on the arial map I was able to design my tubing layout by knowing the elevations quick and easy.
My new lease is a wooded portion of 73+ acres, about 28-30 acres wooded. Using this tool made it much faster than doing elevations in the field. Give this site a try, it will do several different things. Just don't all go there at once or you will over burden their server. They are a small, voluntary donation supported service.
