Tulip Poplar seeds

    I looked outside today and it looked like a swarm of locusts. It was pretty windy and the tulip poplar's winged seeds were flying everywhere. There had to have been millions of them. I know maples and pines do the same thing.

    It is neat to see how nature works. One tree could easily seed bare spots for hundreds of yards, if not miles, depending on wind speed, direction, tree height and how high up on the hill it was growing.
