Title: 2015 VT Solar Lumber Drying Course
Post by: VTwood on March 13, 2015, 11:25:55 AM
Solar lumber drying still seems to be a interest to many and lots of questions both  on the forum and lots of phone calls. So, for those who would like to attend a solar drying course, learn and share information in-person, VT will be holding its Solar Lumber Drying course on Friday May 29, 2015, at the Brooks Forest Products Center, Blacksburg, VA. This course is designed for the small scale woodworking facility or hobby woodworker. Information about how to design, modify, build and operate a solar based on the Virginia Tech design will be presented. Solar lumber drying provides a safe and economical way to dry lumber given limited knowledge and experience. Come to the course and bring your questions! Hope to see you in May.

For more information and to register go to: http://sbio.vt.edu/engagement/extension/solar-kiln/solarKilnWorkshop/index.html

Sorry, I don't come up with the URL, our IT folks do!

By the way, if your coming to the course, please remind me to take a picture of the group to post on the forum.

Thanks,

Brian Bond
