Title: Belsaw owners question
Post by: backwoodsdave on April 21, 2019, 10:56:13 PM
I know there are several on here that own belsaw mills, which ones if any are sawing for profit and not just for hobby, what are you primarily producing, are you filling a niche market or what ?

I don't make a living at it but it pays for my toys. I saw what people ask for.  I've sawn anything from grade stakes to cabinet grade wood.

I own half interest in one.  My buddy has had it the past year, a bit overdue back to me, hoping to get it in a few weeks.  Obviously hobby only.  It hadn't run in years when I picked it up.  I got it mostly running; but it still needs a bearing changed out.
