I made a command decision as I really hate sanding.   ;D    Especially long boards using an orbital sander.   Sometime over the next 3 days I will be unloading around 1500 feet of 1x10 and 1x12 yellow pine from my kiln.   It will all be used to make window and door casings (to be painted) and shelving for the new pantry and Kitty's sewing room.   I do not enjoy the thought of sanding that much wood.   :-X   I have the Woodmaster 718 with the drum sander attachment, but it is a pain to change over and back to the planer head all the time and you need to feed it pretty slow to keep from tearing up the paper.

So I decided it was time for a new toy tool.       Although I have a fair mix of brands in my wood shop now, I am partial to the yellow and black machines.  So today I ordered another one..... 8)

There's a fine line between turning firewood into beautiful things and beautiful things into firewood.

No.   There are actually very few that oscillate.
