Getting started on some timber stairs for barn I've been working on. Used a eastern red cedar for the post and ponderosa pine for the treads.

As well, there is a button to click when in your gallery to rotate pics.

Nice stairs. Would like to see more how you planned the layout of the mortise cuts in the pole.

I went and gave it a spin. :) I like them stairs.

I've also built a set of spiral stairs with a round post, but tied the risers into the post itself. What are the construction details here? How is it tied in on the outside of those treads?
