Turbos are kryptonite for 10's, no comparison.

I run only turbo 7 on everything and this is after using 10s 7s 4s and 9s.  It really is  a do all blade. At least here in the south. Cuts soft or extremely hard wood great. Don't know anything about sawing frozen logs.

Going to a 1.5" will help a lot too if your mill can run them.

Don't know what horsepower engine you have but if you have say a 38hp Kohler gas you can run the .050 instead of the .045 blades and push them harder. I use to have a LT40 with 24hp Onan and I put the 38hp Kohler gas and it ran the ..050 just fine.

1¼" .045 Turbo 7's all of the way for me.  I tried the 1¼" .055 T7's but they broke much sooner.  :-X   I have never tried a 1½" blade, but as mentioned above, the 1½" .050 T7's should be a winner.

I still have a few 4° blades but it has been well over a years since I put one on the mill.  The T7's will saw Post and White Oak so I have no need for them.
