It is as close as most of us can ever be to actually being a genuine YOOPER.

And not being a genuine Yooper is considered a bad thing? I assure you I have enough problems with English now that I speak Spanish most of the time...
So, how did I end up here anyway?

Don K

I missed again, but it always gets somebody in the chainsaw section. :D :D :D :D :D They should poke their heads out more often and see how the rest of the Forum runs amok all the time. :D :D ;D

Now its funny, to think I was going through fixing my post that i thought a prankster was messing with. I had no clue what was going on. Thanks for the link.
Wearing pie on the face now :D.

Funny thing to me is, he has been a member since 2005 and has over 300 posts and never knew about yooper night.  :D

Some of us do try to ignore Yooper night, it appears to be a yankyfied version of yankeedom.  Quite confusing to the genteel southren boys and girls. ::)

You are turning into quite the curmudgeon as I know quite a few that appreciate it at face value.  You sound more like a chainsaw guy.

I thought that being a genuine YOOPER was the highest state of enlightenment . Maybe. Anyway it is no more confusing to me than trying to understand some of the things that the southern boys come up with not to mention those FFers from down under. Course being confused is my natural state.

I guess they're just going to have to realize that I'm a little bit warped and I get a kick out of it, and it's part of Forestry Forum tradition and always will be. Its not a northern thing, its a Forestry Forum thing.
