I received the two free blades from cooks to try awhile back. The new super sharp made a big difference on my lower hp mill. Seems to be half again as fast as the other. I cut for 4 hrs, like butter. 8)I'm going ahead and get some more. I'm cutting pine with the bark on.

I think the supersharp is a good match for lower hp mills, seems to me like they have less set which will take less power and cut faster.  I tried out some about 3 years ago that wouldn't cut as straight as my normal Simonds, maybe they have more set now .   Steve

 I cut some hedge a couple months ago. Used supersharps. Couldn't push the saw quite as fast as in other woods.  The hedge had dry spots in it, that made for real tough cutting.
